First Class service, kept informed at all stages when work delayed due to bad weather. A quote was given prior to work being carried out, and was reflected on the final bill. The original tiles were cemented in position and we had experienced problems with tiles coming loose and pointing dropping out. This made the whole roof look unsightly. We are very pleased with the work carried out, replacing the hip tiles on our house and garage. The new system has been well installed and brought the roof back to a good standard. The four guys who installed the new tiles were a credit to the company in that they worked diligently for the four days they were on site, keeping the work areas clean – tidying up fully each evening, working safely and professionally.

I would like to express our thanks to Mark and his hard working team for the excellent job in retiling our Rosemary tiled roof. Mark’s recommendation that the large format Redland Duo interlocking tiles giving a similar appearance to the original would look stunning when complete proved to be the case and has already been admired by a number of people. Rooftec were appointed as principal contractor on two projects. Carrying out the replacement of roof coverings on both properties with associated remedial work. This was carried out to a high standard in a diligent and professional manner. They provided innovative solutions to a challenging project, providing the client with cost savings and a reduction in the duration of the programme. I have also asked two local companies to quote - one of whom turned up without any ladders... Based on our experience, I would recommend Rooftec (and have done so already). Mark submitted a competitive quote for significant remedial work. What I particularly appreciated was that, although he offered options, he didn't try to 'pad out', or unnecessarily increase the size of the job. 18 Woodside Grove Over the years, our roof fascia and soffit boards had been badly weathered and needed replaced. We decided to go with Rooftec because we wanted a firm that gave us confidence in that they knew exactly what they were doing, how best to complete the work with minimal fuss and time and we also appreciated a company that makes the effort in continuing to invest in their staff and business. From the very beginning where Mark visited our home, the professional looking quotation that was posted out to the time that the scaffolders arrived, the roof work carried out and the scaffolding taken away again was carried out in a very professional and efficient manner. RoofTec’s staff took care of our home and garden and were patient with all the pets that wanted to say “hello" each day and occasionally got in their way! We were kept up date on progress and the team tidied up after themselves as work progressed.We took the view that it was worth the extra expense in choosing RoofTec knowing that we would get a great job with no shortcuts taken and that any issues after completion of the work would be addressed straight away (not that there has been). I’m happy to recommend RoofTec and would certainly use them again in the future.

Just a quick note to thank all the team for our new flat roof - what a great job they did. We had a large, old felt-covered flat roof which was in dire need of replacement. The boys stripped it all off in record time and replaced it with modern membrane. They cleaned everything up very neatly, were polite and appreciative. The boss (Mark) is great - no fuss, drama or upscaling the job. Rooftec were our second choice - but only because we had never heard of them until we got a leaflet in the door, but boy are we glad we gave them the job!

We selected Rooftec after meeting with Mark to discuss replacing the original Rosemary clay tiles and leadwork on our 1936 mid-terraced property in Glasgow with new leadwork and new Rosemary clay tiles. It proved to be an excellent choice. The Rooftec team, led by Gary, were knowledgeable, hard-working and professional. The leadwork detailing and clay tiling including hip mitred tiles were completed meticulously and to a high standard. The finished roof is exactly correct for the property and I am sure the robustness of the materials and workmanship will readily stand the test of time. Rooftec provided a very full photograph record of the work including problem areas in the original detailing and how they were rectified. As property owner and as an Architect I would commend Rooftec on their exemplary execution of our requirements.

Rooftec was recommended to us by two neighbours who had been very happy with their roofs. We contacted Rooftec to arrange a survey and Mark showed up on time and did a thorough inspection of the roof whereby he made a few suggestions on what was required. A few days later we got the quote in and decided to go ahead with the work. They were very considerate when we asked for a date that suited us and were able to accommodate us. Gary and the men arrived on site and on time and were very respectful of our property. The work was carried out with precision and accuracy and the work was done to the specified timescales as promised. The team were very professional, polite and they even tidied up to a satisfactory standard (they even offered to wash the windows for us) but I said it was fine. The roof now not only looks great but it gives us piece of mind that we have a roof with a guarantee as well as the knowledge that they used quality materials and provided a first class service. Just had work done with Rooftec. They replaced our leaking gutters and down pipes. We were very happy with the service provided from quote stage right through to end of job. Workers arrived at agreed time and left no mess at all. Would happily recommend Rooftec for a first class service.

ROOFTEC have recently finished re-roofing our garage and extension and have done a wonderful neat and tidy job. The men worked very hard and were courteous, well mannered and answered any questions thrown at them. When the job was finished everything was cleaned up and the site left tidy. ROOFTEC also repaired our slate roof last year to a very high standard and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. There are so many cowboys out there so it is really good to get proper workmanship done and be able to sleep at night.
